Yorkshire Three Peaks

What is the challenge?
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24-mile (38.6 km) circular walk that climbs the three highest mountains in the Yorkshire Dales:
-
Pen-y-ghent (694m) – the rugged trailblazer
-
Whernside (736m) – the gentle giant with sweeping views
-
Ingleborough (723m) – the iconic flat-topped finale
You’ll gain and lose nearly 1,600m of elevation — more than climbing Ben Nevis — making it a true test of endurance and spirit.

Why do it?
Challenge yourself...push your limits with an exhilarating day in the great outdoors. It’s a brilliant way to raise money for charity or smash a personal fitness goal.
Unforgettable Views...take in dramatic limestone landscapes, glacial valleys, and sweeping vistas that stretch to the Lake District and Morecambe Bay.
Bucket List Worthy...join thousands each year who complete the challenge — whether for charity, adventure, or simply the love of walking.
